Badrinath temple is not only one of the temples of Chhota Chardham in Uttarakhand but the main Chadham of India as well. The term Badrinath is derived from two words: "Badri" denotes to a blue berry supposed to raise lavishly in this area since the earliest times and "Nath" states to lord Vishnu. It is assumed in Hindu Mythology that Lord Vishnu did an extensive repentance here and Goddess Lakshmi took the form of blue color berries' tree to protect lord Vishnu from the severe climate. Badrinath is also famous as Badri Vishal as it is the biggest amongst the five Badris, together known as Panch Badri, and the most admired one. The temple is located in the valley between Nar and Narayan peaks. In the background, there is the Neelkanth peak.

    Delhi to Haridwar (230 kms/6hrs).

  • Day 2

    Haridwar to Uttarkashi (190km/7 hrs).

    Plan of day is that after breakfast, head towards Uttarkashi. Have visit Kashi Vishwnath temple and Prakateshwar Mahadev Temple. Overnight stayover at hotel in Uttarkashi.

  • Day 3

    Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (200Kms / 7-8Hrs drive)

  • Day 4

    Uttarkashi - Rudraprayag (190Kms /6 -7Hrs drive).

    This fourth day morning starts and after breakfast drive for Rudraprayag. Visit on the way excursions like Tehri Dam and Meeting of river Alaknanda and Mandakni which is called as Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at Rudraprayg.

  • Day 5

    Rudraprayag to Badrinath (165kms / 7hr).

    Tour of day is after breakfast, drive in between the green and lavish forest to Badrinath. Have sightseeing on the way which are Narsingh temple and Shankaracharya Math in Joshimath. Visit Auli from Joshimath at your own expenses which can be by cable car as well. Evening visit to Badrinath Temple for darshan. Overnight stay at hotel in Badrinath.

  • Day 6

    Badrinath to Rudraprayag(165kms / 7hr).

    Day tour after having breakfast, do visit to nearby destinations like Mana Village, Charanpaduka, Vyas Gufa, Bhimkund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Visit on the way excursions such as Nandaprayag, Karanprayag, and Vishnuprayag. Overnight comfortable stay at hotel in Rudraprayag.

  • Day 7

    Rudraprayag to Haridwar (165kms / 7hr).

    This fresh morning after breakfast drive towards Haridwar. Do visit on the way sightseeing for instance Vasistha Gufa, Devoprayag, Rishikesh (Laxman Jhula, and Ram Jhula). Overnight saty at Haridwar.

  • Day 8

    Haridwar - Delhi (230 Kms / 6-7 Hrs drive).

    Last day morning with spiritual feel after breakfast visit local sightseeing of Haridwar like Daksh Temple, Shri Yantra Temple, Maya Devi Temple. Later drive back to Delhi. Drop at Delhi in the evening where the tour ends and memory begins.
